Skier's Edge is 5.5 miles south of town and there are no restaurants at our facility, but here are some suggestions for an enjoyable meal and memorable dining expierence.

Burke and Riley’s Irish Pub $$ - pub food, popular bar with outdoor gas fireplace – La Cima Mall, 520 S. Main St.

Downstairs at Eric’s $$- pizza, burgers, large beer selection, video games for the kids, many TVS for the sports enthusiasts- 111 S. Main St.

Empire Burger $$ - good burgers and one of only restaurants in town open until 1am. – La Cima Mall, South Park and Main St.

Giampietro’s $$ - great pizza and calzones – NE Corner of Lincoln and Main St.

Hearthstone $$$$ - wonderful ambience and excellent food; great place for a romantic evening or nice conversation amongst friends – 130 S. Ridge St. 

Jalapeno’s $$– Mexican food – 100 S. Park St.

Mountain Flying Fish $$$- Sushi and Sake – 500 S. Main St.

My Thai $$ - Thai cuisine – 500 S. Main St La Cima Mall.

Rasta Pasta $$- Jamaican ambience with good Italian cuisine - 411 S. Main St.

South Ridge Seafood Grille $$$ - yum, yum, yum – 215 S. Ridge St.

Relish $$$$ - constantly changing menu from a gourmet chef – 137 South Main St.

Salt Creek $$$ - tasty barbeque in the downstairs restaurant – 110 E. Lincoln Ave.

Steak and Rib $$$$– Voted best steak in Summit County 2001-8 – 208 N. Main St.

Taipei Tokyo $$– tasty Chinese food – 110 S. Park Ave.

Angel’s Hollow $ - local restaurant that is never too crowded and has really good food. 113 S. Ridge St.

FAVORITE BARS:

Blue River Bistro- wine and martini bar.

Burke and Reilly’s- Irish pub with good late night scene.

Cecilia’s- this is the only nightclub in town. 

Gold Pan- great ‘dive bar’; it is the oldest bar in town and often has music and dancing. 

Fatty’s Pizzeria- nice bar with good TVS for watching the games.  Real local hangout. 

South Ridge Seafood Grill - great bar and great social scene.

Angel’s Hollow- the local ‘biker bar’.

GROCERY STORES

City Market is located on the northside of town on Park St.  Food Kingdom is a smaller grocery store located on South Ridge St. 

TAXIS

Taxi service is available in Summit County.  Check with our front desk if you need help or assistance with arranging taxi service.  The phone number to the taxi service is (970) 453-TAXI.  All bartenders in town will try to help you find a taxi if you ask them. 

LIQUOR STORES

In Colorado, wine, beer, and liquor can only be sold at liquor stores.  Grocery stores and gas stations carry 3.2% alcohol beer. 

Skeevue Liquors (closest) - located on Ridge Street next to the Food Kingdom. 

City Liquors – located conveniently next to City Market.

Discount Liquor Mart- Off of Park Avenue near Lone Star Sports.  Pick up your gear and your beer at the same time!
