Here are some organizations that sell interval weeks. Please be advised that
VRI recommends that if you use an organization to do the transfer that they
comply with the requirements stated under “How can I transfer ownership of my
unit? “ (See below). SECA, VRI and your BOM make no endorsement or warranty of
the services of any listed agent or site. Owners may want to be wary of any
company that requires significant upfront listing fees to list their week.
You can use a real
estate company in the area.
Several websites may be used to sell your timeshare. Some of these include:
www.ebay.com
www.timesharingtoday.com
http://www.tug2.net
www.redweek.com
.

Not currently, but
that is something that the Board of Managers and the managing agent are looking
into.

Each interval owner having signed an acquisition contract has a legal
obligation to pay their fair share until such time as they can convey their
interest in their interval to another party. The Skier's Edge Condominium
Association (SECA) is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and
administration of the facility for the approximately 1200 plus owners of the
facility. To take back dissatisfied owner's intervals would require the
association to spread the cost of maintaining those intervals over the backs of
the remaining interval owners. This would not be fair. It would also result in
more delinquencies, and an even greater burden on the responsible owners.

What if I just QCD my week back to
SECA?
We strongly advise that you do not attempt this process as you will be responsible for all attorney fees and costs associated with our filing a “Non-acceptance” document to block this
“unauthorized” transfer.

Skier’s
Edge does not have an Internal Exchange program, however there will be a place
on the new Web Site for owners to possibly trade amongst themselves.
You can
also trade through other exchange companies.

That is not a problem, however we request that you notify the resort in writing with all guest’s information. The owner is still responsible and liable for any and all activity in your unit, during your week. (Please be advised that it the resorts policy not to allow anyone in your unit without written authorization. If time is a problem feel free to fax or e-mail your authorization)

Skier’s
Edge is not responsible for soliciting your week. Please refer to the Rental
Agreement for further explanation.
You can
always rent it out yourself and take 100% of the rental income.
Of course you take 100% of the liability and risk associated. (see
above: “What if I want to send someone to the resort in my place?)

PLEASE BE AWARE NO TRANSFER TAKES PLACE WITHOUT APPROVAL BY THE BOM OR ITS AGENT, PAYMENT OF ALL FEES ASSESSED TO CURRENT OWNERS ACCOUNT AND A COPY OF A RECORDED TRANSFER DOCUMENT.

(See “How can I transfer ownership of my unit?”) We will also need a
certified copy of the death certificate.

That is a question that must be answered by a real estate company or
agent, Skier’s Edge nor its Managing Agent is not a real estate broker.

Foreclosure
activity has been suspended until further notice.

Put your request in writing and send it or e-mail it to the Associations Manager in c/o Skier’s Edge, P.O. Box 62, Breckenridge, CO 80424. Your account will be charged $.10
per page and appropriate postage to cover costs.
