Recently the Board of Managers approved posting all APPROVED board meeting notes directly to this website under the BOM Minutes section.
In the future board meetings will be posted promptly AFTER they are approved. The Board of Managers for SECA continues to look for ways to increase communications with SECA owners.

The Board of Managers has approved posting of a letter to the OWNERS ONLY section (Owners Message Board) of this website. This letter was directed to the former management company from association counsel. It is important to understand that this is Attorney Client Communication and is being shared with owners or clients so that our association owners will have a solid idea of the current status of the open investigation.

 As previously disclosed the BOARD, VRI, nor counsel will be answering any questions about this letter or the pending investigation.

As information such as this does become available the board will promptly share with owners.

Vacation Resorts International (“VRI”), Skier’s Edge new management company, and the Board of Managers (“BOM”) would like to offer their sincere apologies for any confusion regarding the recent invoice for the 2006 Maintenance Fees at Skier's Edge.

Every owner’s statement will list at least two charges: “2006 Assessments” and “2006 Replacements.” In addition, some owners will have a third charge reading “2006 Special Assessments.”

“Assessments” are the same as "Maintenance Fees" and not to be confused with “Special Assessments.” Your 2006 “Maintenance Fee” is the total of "Assessments" and "Replacements". In an effort to properly disclose to you as an owner how your “Maintenance Fee” fee is allocated between operating and reserve accounts, it will now be billed in that manner. The summary page of the 2006 Budget you received with the billing explains how your maintenance fee is used.

The "2006 Special Assessments" is the second portion of the Special Assessment approved by the BOM for unit renovation and refurbishment during 2005. Many owners have paid this in full, and thus will not see this on their bill.
